An interesting Tour in Mexico (1849) with a singer and an eccentric harpist
I am pleased to see that this book is online. It tells about a 1-year travel in Mexico of the very eccentric and famous harpist Nicolas Bochsa accompanied with Anna Bishop (who left her husband the British composer Henry Bishop) to follow Bochsa. She was an opera singer. Often would Bochsa conduct the orchestra or accompany with the harp or the piano her recitals. This book is strange, tells many adventures of all kinds. It is not signed but probably Bochsa played a role in the writing. I have published the first biography in French of Nicolas Bochsa as well as a small book (in French) summarizing "Travels of Anna Bishop".
